Wrong! Took me so long to figure it out, so I decided to write about the feelings students, ME, get when they're right in the middle of their semester.
Life as a college student can be fun but it sure is stressful. How many of you have thought to yourselves about an assignment due tomorrow or an exam next Tuesday? Well I have and it is definitely not the best feeling. How is it possible to be a full-time student who is involved on campus, work, have a social life, complete all assignments on time and still have time to sleep? I don't have the answer to that but I can tell you how I deal with all of these things.
It feels like something is weighing you down, like there is no WAY you can do all of this but where there is a will there is a way. My problem is that I am always over thinking things, so trying to manage all of my courses, the work load and my personal life is a bit tough to handle. Recently, I have had the opportunity to live on my own, be in school and not have to work and I have to say I thought this would be simple but it is the exact opposite. Now I have to deal with the responsibility of maintaining my home, keeping up with school and enjoying my involvement on campus. How do I do it? How can I manage all of this. PATIENCE. that is the best thing that has helped me overcome the stress of being a full-time student.
Remembering to take one thing at a time. Don't overwhelm yourself with several different tasks because you will burn yourself out. Create a schedule or buy a planner and just plan out your days accordingly. Make sure you follow along with your planner and see when you may have extra time in between classes or things you may have going on and fill it with something else you may want to complete. If you keep track of things that have to be done it will make the rest of the semester fly by because you have given yourself time time do your best this semester.
